A further illustration for a fairy tale I wrote for a friend. Well, am writing, actually--but I'm almost finished. Finally. This might very well be a WIP, as I think I'm going to add some gold paintwork and darken and define some lines that weren't caught very well on the scan. Silhouette work is fun. Black sharpie, and photoshop for the text. I really need to find some new black ink; delicate work with a fat sharpie is not the easiest thing in the world!

That's really cool. So beautifully graphic. It makes me want to see something interesting done with the text - variety in the size, font, placement, something - to marry it with the image and give it the same impact.
