Entering the 'Inferno'

I had just finished my final Art class, had a sharpie and red chalk, and was in a very good mood. Also, I had my head still full of Dante's "Inferno", since I had just finished reading it for the umpteenth time, haha. This resulted. I kinda like it. It's pretty small in my sketchbook, and it's not at all perfect, since I was kinda making it up as I went along, but it's okay. Virgil and Dante standing in the light one last moment before descending into the deeps of Hell on their journey towards Heaven.

Oh, and apologies for the quality of the photograph. It creates some graininess that shouldn't be there, particularly towards the top of the piece :/
